We are bringing together a mix of new and seasoned citizen activists to interact in a robust agenda of workshops, skills sessions and presentations featuring an outstanding line up of speakers including chief economic adviser to the President, Austan Goolsbee and Eric Schlosser, the acclaimed author of Fast Food Nation and star of the movie Food, Inc.
This year we will be offering more than 20 workshops where you can learn from Consumers Union’s on-staff experts and nonprofit partners like Amalia Deloney from Media Action Grassroots Network; Ben Popken from the Consumerist; Jill Richardson, foodie, activist, author, and blogger; and several other leaders working with us on our various campaigns.
