Central Baptist College A press conference will be held this Monday to announce a major athletic movement for Central Baptist College’s (CBC) sports program. The press conference will be held on Monday, October 5, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the CBC Community Room. Speaking at the press conference will be CBC President Terry Kimbrow and CBC Athletic Director Lyle Middleton.

The pilot of a Cessna 150 that crashed near Mayflower Saturday afternoon didn't have a pilot's license, according to Federal Aviation Administration records.

Central Baptist College is pleased to announce the second annual Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction on Saturday, February 7, 2009 in the Mabee Student Services Complex. All of the proceeds from this event will go towards the equipping of a campus fitness center. The fundraising goal for this event is $25,000.
The Silent... Auction and appetizer buffet will open at 5:30 P.M. followed by dinner and the program at approximately 6:30 P.M. Dinner this year will be prepared by Central Baptist College Dining Services, under the direction of executive chef, Jill McCollum, and will consist of focaccia ciabatta loaf with oil and cracked pepper, glazed pork loin, new potato supreme, fresh vegetable medley, and dessert.
Individual tickets are $25.00 and sponsorships range from $250 to $2,500. To purchase individual tickets, become an event sponsor, or donate an item(s) to the Silent Auction please select one of the links at the bottom of this page. Sponsors wishing to have their name and/or logo (dependent on sponsorship level) listed on promotional materials must submit sponsorship form and payment prior to December 31, 2008. Sponsorships received after December 31, 2008 will be listed at the event only.
The first Benefit Dinner and Silent Auction was held last year in conjunction with Homecoming activities and raised $15,000 towards the purchase of a 33 passenger bus to be used by CBC’s athletic teams and music performance groups. The bus has been ordered and is expected to arrive on campus by the end of January. A total of 23 businesses and individuals sponsored tables last year.
