Cork Midsummer Festival is delighted to present the Big Lebowski Experience in the Crane Lane Theatre where ‘the Dude’ abides!!
Join us for the whole Lebowski experience – enter the best dressed Dude & Dudette competition, win a weekend for two in the 4* Clarion Hotel Limerick in our fundraiser raffle,... and many more amazing prizes! All this before the screening of your favourite Coen Brothers cult movie! Come and join ‘the Dude’, an unemployed Los Angeles slacker and avid bowler, and his friend Walter as they get caught up in a case of mistaken identity, multi-millionaires and criminal conspiracies.

The Pavillion in Cork's Huguenot quarter offers the perfect setti...ng and providing the tunes are Lazik who combine Bulgarian, Serbian, Gypsy and Klezmer music with melodies of the west.
With your host DJ Mayakovsky! A veteran of Eastern Europe, he will return to play Balkan, Romanian and Hungarian tunes, from the fiery brass of Boban Markovic to the speedy violins of Taraf de Haifouks, complimented by visuals from the movies of Emir Kusturica.
