Coronet Peak Sounds like those in the northern hemi are having a great time - thanks for your comments (keep up updated)! We've got a pretty warm weekend dialled in here in QTown, time to break out the hiking boots.
Coronet Peak Finally, some sunshine and some warmth. Bask in it Queenstown! Sounds like some parts of the Northern Hemisphere are getting a hammering - anyone up there getting amongst it?
Coronet Peak Man, how about that wind last night?! Debris and bits of tree all over the parking lot downtown. Thank goodness the next four days are forecast to be a bit nicer, ready for some heat!
Coronet Peak Well, things haven't warmed up this week - there have been some cold temps and even a little snow over the basin at the Remarks. Unfortunately things don't look that flash weather wise for the weekend either ... hopefully next week will bring the warm sun.
Coronet Peak Brrrr ... chilly morning! Sun trying to warm up, hope it succeeds! Summer maintenance is starting at The Peak, getting things in shape for winter 2010.

Coronet Peak Hey guys, there's been some rumours floating round QTown that Coronet Peak is going to open on Saturday with $5 runs ... unfortunately this is just a rumour - we are all hoping summer decides to rear its head soon!

Coronet Peak Bit of new snow on the hill today and its pouring with rain in Queenstown - yuck. Hows the roadie plans to Mt Hutt coming along? 5 more days of the season to go!
Coronet Peak So, who's doing a roadie to Hutt this week/weekend?! They still have plenty of snow and another 7 days of spring skiing & riding goodness to be enjoyed. Might as well enjoy it while it lasts ... yewwww!
Coronet Peak Sad to be closed with the mountain still looking so good. Thankfully still got Remarks until Sunday with good winter conditions and trying to be blue. Tomorrow looking good. Then Hutt roadie (Hutt just got 50cms in last 24hrs!) to sign off 2010. Bring on MTB!
