Corpus Christi Metro Ministries
The Day of Giving is as simple as it is ambitious. For one 24-hour period on November 17, 25 non-profit partner agencies will request donations from their individual constituencies with the promise that their generosity will be
doubled. If they give one dollar, it becomes two dollars. If they give $100, it becomes $200!... Each donor has the opportunity to make an impact beyond his or her own individual ability to give. And each person can direct their donation directly to their favorite charity or they can add it to the general fund which will be distributed equally among the 25 non-profits. Either way, this unique effort will provide vital funds to those non-profit agencies working closest to the immediate problems of hunger, human need and animal welfare in the Coastal Bend.
A special, dedicated website has been setup to make giving a quick, easy and secure process. Just log on to www.coastalbenddayofgiving.org, fill in a few blanks and you’re done. You’ll be doing so much good without leaving
your chair! While non-electronic donations will be gratefully accepted at each participating non-profit, those contributions will not count for the match. Only online gifts qualify.
