Oregon State University Army ROTC - The Beaver Army wishes everyone a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a terrific 2010! Even Sgt. Major (Retired) Benny got in the act today when he visited the OSU Army ROTC offices! (He also reminds everyone to cheer for the Beavers as they take on BYU in the Maaco Las Vegas Bowl later today.)

keychain...and, to top it off, an OSU "Powered by Orange" T-shirt (not
shown; specify your size). We may have a few other goodies to throw in,
too. If you don't get the Grand Prize, not to worry...we have some
extras of these items that we'll give away in onesies-twosies as well.
Oregon State University Army ROTC - The Beaver Army is still working out what prizes we'll hand out. We will have a random drawing among the names of the people who have become our Friends shortly after we hit the 100 Friends milestone!
Oregon State University Army ROTC - The Beaver Army is thrilled that we are just about up to the magic 100 Friends mark (technically, we do have 100 friends, but two of those are from the staff, so we don't count). Encourage your friends to join, especially your fellow OSU Army ROTC alums...when we go over the mark, we'll have some prizes to hand out to celebrate!!!
Oregon State University Army ROTC - The Beaver Army congratulates our Cadets as they wrap up the Fall 2009 term! We're taking advantage of Finals Week to play "musical offices," so when we're done later this week we'll catch up and post some interesting photos and stories. Stay tuned...and be safe this Christmas/Holiday season!
Oregon State University Army ROTC - The Beaver Army reminds those of you in the Corvallis area about the talk on Tuesday, 24 Nov by COL Thomas O'Donnell about Army Corps of Engineering activities in Afghanistan. That lecture is in 312 Kearney Hall on the OSU campus. If that isn't enough to tempt you, how about some pizza and beverages to go with it? Don Malarkey, Company E "Easy Company" 502d Parachute Regiment of "Band of Brothers" fame. See our photo gallery for these. I am moving from my temporary position with the Army ROTC program at Oregon State University to a permanent position with Army ROTC at the University of Portland. My last day at OSU is 30 Dec 09, and my first day at UP is 4 Jan 10. More later on the website.

Oregon State University Army ROTC - The Beaver Army has been having problems with the web server this week. If you get a warning about our site, don't worry...it's been fixed. The Web Services people are working with Google, Firefox, and others to "un-flag" us and other OSU websites.

We've also updated the Alumni Gallery with new photos. And, if you want to know the results of the Benton County Foundation Scholarship Run, stay tuned...we should have that in a day or so. Last ...year, they had about 35 runners...this year, they had a whopping 180+!!!!
