By far you are the most honest and straight shooting politician I have found in a generation. I have signed the petition, as I agree with your entire argument and also argee with Senator Barnaby Joyce. The eleventh hour is certainly apon us and we have no time too waste. I believe that as the tide turns and the people ...realise that they have been conned by not just the ALP and the Greens, then they will remember your name as one who stood against his own party line in the name of Australia. I trust that will be enough to find you running for PM. I did have Hockey and Turnbull on facebook but they are gone now. Please don't let me find you are playing "good cop", then I will lose all faith in our leadership. Happy Birthday Senator and God bless.Read More

AGREED !

Thankyou Senator for having the courage to speak out against this treaty. I have looked at the treaty and cannot believe that our country would be party to such a loss of democtratic rights, the very thing our country is built on. Finally someone has the will to stand up to our Prime Minister and say NO. I surely hope the tide is turning and people are starting to realise the damage this will do to our countries wealth, our life style, our jobs and our freedom as a nation. Unfortunately for us, people have voted for a Prime Minister who is ego driven and more interested in his own future than than the future of the people who elected him. He is yet to answer one hard question about this treaty, in fact he is yet to speak of it.... treating us all with ignorance and disdain. We are not that stupid Senator and have been waiting for the moment to speak out. Keep your petition going.... you have growing support every day.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday with your family.... Read More

P.S. You were great on Q & A a few weeks ago, they surely gave it to you, but you stood your ground. Well done.

Cory, Just what will I be signing? Theres no statement that I can see of the etition. Just a note I'm supposed to be against it. Petitions are a call to action. So what is the actual proposal?

Julian McLaren

Julian McLaren Hi Cory. Solution to Global Warming in book called "SuperFreakonomics" Chapter 5. A little bit of Sulfur dioxide into the Stratosphere and "hey presto" problem solved with an cost of around $300 million...........wouldn't that be a blow to governments around the world.

Great stuff. I did an interview on local ABC radio (Riverina) today...(allegedly I am a Finance Expert but love a soap box)......but discussed the Emmisions problem faced by cities at the turn of the 20th century - horse dung (again from SuperFreakonomics) and how it threatened to turn back the industrial age but the problem suddenly vanished, by ... Phil Hello Corey, how about doing an interview with Alan Jones to undo some of the damage done by your leader earlier in the week. Is there a petition circulating re the ETS?

Xenia Pericich Hi Cory, Keep up the good work. Where is a petition we can sign to say NO TO THE ETS

Cory Bernardi
Imagine a question that attached a price tag of seven billion dollars of taxpayers’ money to the answer. Now suppose that the question itself was being hidden by the Government in an attempt to avoid scrutiny and public debate. ...

Julian McLaren Great stuff on ETS Cory. Keep up the good work. Silent majority rules OK.

Cory, good point.

Am I right in suggesting that heads of departments (departmental secretaries) are ministerially appointed?

That being the case, is it any wonder public servants are persuaded by the government of the day, thus rendering them partisan? ... Read More

Well I wish you the very best of luck Cory, and hope for the sake of our economy that it isn't to late. Intuition tells me it may be.

I must say Cory, I particularly like the fact that you have stuck to your 5 key principals (all of which I am for). It is not the easiest thing to do in mainstream politics.
