When the Country House was a grocery store and bar combo, some 40 years back, it was the place where the Clarendon Hills volenteer firemen would gather after Wednesday evening practice. Then came a rebuild by the Page's and the Regnorey's, and it's been a winner every year since! It's like "coming home" for a lot of us... in the neighborhood, and for that matter, around the country!
