Countyline Dragway, Inc. Countyline Dragway is proud to announce they will be holding BEAT THE HEAT Saturday, May 23, 2009 This event is being held s part of our ongoing Beat the Heat program in conjuction with the Medley Police Department. Highlights of the event as of this date are as follows;
• Test & Tune Racing all evening long.
• Beat t...he Heat program where civilians race against Police cars for T-Shirts and Bragging rights.
• Joel Harris, the Wheel Standing Elvis and his trick Wheelie Truck
• Freddy Brown and the Micro Van – Guiness World Record Holder for the worlds smallest ¼ mle dragster.
• Army Hummer Mobile Video Unit
• 93 ROCK booth and t-Shirt/Concert ticket giveaway
• Andy Perez Game Over Motorcycle Stunt Show
Additional invitations have been extended and we are awaiting commitments. We hope your organization can participate and cover this important event. Through our efforts, incidents of illegal street racing have been declining in South Florida. We would like to continue the trend and hope through greater media coverage and support the word will get out to those still unaware of our facility and mission.
