Hello everyone,the month of October has started on a busy note for Mstari Wa Nne.
Tuesday 6th October sees our Grandmaster Masese take center stage at the Kwani... Open Mic at Club Soundd Nairobi from 7.00pm. Masese will be the featured poet so be sure not to miss out on this one...

Wednesday 7th October see...s Njeri Wangari, Grandmaster Masese and Maik Kwambo get on stage alongside other talented acts at the Ignite Poets: Two Nations, One Flame show, in aid of the Kibera Girls Hawkers Center. The show takes place at the Alliance Francaise Nairobi from 6.30pm.
Entry Ksh 300 ( All proceeds go to charity)
Friday 9th October sees some fun loving Mistaris at the Dass Restaurant for their favourite show, Rhythm and Spoken by Project Heshima.
Entry Ksh 200
This is only the first week of October..so it's going to be a busy month for us, but we'll keep you posted....

Funds will be donated to The Hawkers Market Girls Centre (located in the largest slum of Africa, Kibera), a school that offers vocational training for girls who are looking for a better way of life.
