- Hailing from Brooklyn, New York, we (Brian & Edie Himmel) started Crazy Rumors in our bright, sunny yellow kitchen back in 2003. Our back and forth late night chit chats lit up one particular light bulb that couldn't be shut off - the idea of fusing fun themes & delicious flavoring into high quality, natural personal care products!
Seeing how so many product lines leaned one way or the other: simple and ordinary with the same basic aromas or wild and over the top but made of purely synthetic ingredients, Crazy Rumors set out to be the best of both worlds.
With the support of our family and friends, we put their senses and lips to work. After many months of late night experiments and testing, we were pretty certain we had created the world's best lip balm!
