13th Annual Bowl-A-Thon
Sunday, November 22, 1:30-5pm
The Bowl-A-Thon is a sale of handmade mugs and bowls made especially for the event by Creative Arts Workshop Studio Potters, faculty, students and friends. Make a donation and receive a beautiful mug or bowl filled with delicious soup. All proceeds benefit the Community Soup Kitchen.

Creative Arts Workshop is holding its annual Celebration of American Crafts from October 31 to December 24. The exhibition and sale features a brilliant array of fine ceramics, wearable and decorative fiber, wood furnishings, blown glass, hand crafted jewelry, whimsical toys, and much more by over 3...00 artists from across the country.
Whether you're starting your holiday shopping or adding to your collection, the Celebration has items to fit every style and budget. Come often as new items are introduced daily.
All purchases from the Celebration directly support the artists and CAW's community programming.

On Thursday, October 8, at 7 pm, we'll be screening the one-hour documentary 'The Billboard from Bethlehem' in the ACES-ECA Auditorium. The film tells the remarkable story of how an American billboard company owner, Bruce Barrett, convinced Israeli and Palestinian fighters, along with children from both nations, to pai...nt a giant peace mural billboard inside the West Bank of Palestine. The billboard will be on display for the screening.
After the film, producer/director Bruce Barrett and local artist Russell Rainbolt will talk about the process of making both the billboard and the documentary.
This is sure to be a unique and powerful event - don't miss it!

In her series 'Covenant,' Burke invites the viewer to discover Burma, which hides beneath the ...surface of Myanmar. Each sculpture in the series reflects one element of this complex culture.

Cultural Passages: What's Art Got to Do with It?

Featuring fifty-seven artists from throughout Connecticut, Cultural Passages communicates the many ways that we define our culture today, revealing who people are, what they do, and how they respond to the world.
Creative Arts Workshop Lauren Cotton transforms the gallery space in this site-specific installation entitled Measure of Capacity. The installation is viewable from outside the CAW Hilles Gallery from August 7 through August 31.
