Creative Community Services, Inc. Jackson EMC awarded a grant of $10,000 to CCS to purchase educational supplies, individual tutoring and life skills resources for the STEP Program, which helps prepare youths to transition out of the state foster care system and into independent adulthood, preventing them from ending up in mental institutions, homeless shelters or jails as adults.
