I decided the only way I'll ever get a tattoo is if I get the perfect hand. When I almost got it, I was playing against someone who had only played maybe twice before. My elation would have been wasted on someone who simply wouldn't understand.

is there anyway to be able to play cribbage by yourself?

from my understanding.. the run doesn't have to be in any specific order.

The run counts even if its played Q J K or K J Q . . . any order.

if you make 31 playing the last card you only get 2 points. you do not get the last card point.

Now these two are probably well known variations of the game, but we made our own type of Cribbage. We added some extra cards. It plays just like cribbage with the execption of 4 new cards, we took 4 jokers and 'renamed' them. It's hard to remember without the deck not in front of me, and it's all the way back in Michigan, but one is a crib ... See Morestealer (person who plays it, gets the crib), another is you have to pass the crib one player to the left, one card is double crib (take your points in crib and double), and the other is negative crib (where whatever points you have in your crib is subtracted from that hand) it's just something we came up with, makes it different and fun. And the "reverse" cribbage game (where you don't want to get points) really screws with your head lol b/c you want to make 15s, runs, etc... lol also screws with your head when you play rummy then play cribbage or vice versa LOL.
