Crimson Pirates Just got back from PARF. So grateful to folks who made the trek down. What a wonderful weekend. Lovely people, around seven sets a day, fans old and new. Spectacular. — Barleymash
Crimson Pirates Intense six-hour rehearsal session this past Saturday, getting ready for PARF. It was great hearing Crossbones' songs again. If you missed some of our selections (Jack Hinks, Old DunCow, etc.) this summer, come out to PARF this weekend and sing along! And here's hoping we get BOTH guitarists together soon. — Barleymash
Crimson Pirates Through the Spyglass: We've got all sorts of percussion (bodhran, conga, bongos, field drum, dumbek, djembe, spoons, claves, fish, shakeres…), guitar, mandolin, bass, concertina, pennywhistle, occassionally a dulcimer and fiddle. So what instrument does the crew of the Crimson Tide DESPERATELY need to master? (No promises. Just curious!) Barleymash
Crimson Pirates OH! And for those of you looking for a Beatles-like reunion, the very sexy Crossbones McCoy will rejoin his crewmates for PARF. We will, of course, miss our newest crewmate, the astonishing Philip Hole (Ta Da!) that weekend. Hopefully, there will be a gig soon where we can accommodate both gifted guitarists' very busy schedules. — Barleymash
