Cross '09 L.A. The LA design team is meeting today to discuss schedule and housing options for people. We are planning on offering for people to stay with host families or in a hotel. Please let us know if you have a preference. And, if you live in LA or OC, let us know if you'd be willing to be a host family and how may people you could host. Thanks!

So where in LA is this going to be centered so that I might get some housing...what staff are willing to house people? What will the cost be? Is there anywhere where I can see some detailed information so that I can make a decision as to whether or not I can really come?

What will the schedule be like?
You’ll arrive on Sunday and we’ll have dinner together and a short briefing. Monday through Wednesday you will go to campuses with high concentrations of Latino students. You’ll share your faith and build relationships with Latino students. You may potentially have an evening gathering o...r outreach event on a campus. On Thursday, if you want to stick around, you have the option of Disneyland, a day at the beach or making your own fun (there’s plenty to be had!).
Where will we stay?
We are working on securing housing for all participants. It may be in a hotel or possibly in the Korean CCC dorm in the heart of Koreatown (talk about a total cross-cultural experience!).
What’s the cost?
You will be responsible for your transportation, housing, food, and incidental expenses. We may also ask everyone to pitch in for materials.
Who will help us?
You will be in the gentle hands of the local PSW staff.
Will it be warm?
The average high in November is 73. Average low is 53. LA averages 329 sunny days per year. So, probably.
