I’ve uploaded another song from the album called “It is Done.” Before becoming a Christian, one of the weirdest things I would hear Christians say was something like, “I can’t wait to die so I can meet Jesus!” I mean, who wishes for death with a smile on their face? After becoming a Christian, I finally understood thei...r calm faith in the fact that death does not need to be feared because of Jesus’ gift.
A friend shared that It is Done is one of her favorite songs. Using Jesus’ last sentiment as a reminder that the price has already been paid for us was a comforting, warming reassurance for her; even so, she says it is still an amazingly difficult gift for her to comprehend. Good thing we don’t need to understand it to have faith in it!
It is Done is also special to me for a different reason; my little girl was eleven when this song was recorded, and she sings at the very end of the song. I can’t help but smile every time I hear it.

Curt Sauer I saw that one of my FB Friends posted this week that she wished her Dad was here. He died a few months ago, which was a shock to all of us. After I saw that, I uploaded one of the songs from my album, Sometimes Daddies Leave, in hopes that it provides some comfort to her and to any others who may need it.
