Whether tracing your Native American heritage or learning more about Native American history, original records shed new light on the people and events of the past. Over 1.5 million images available for the first time on the Internet.

Cyndi's List Working on fixing the now broken GeoCities links. As I go I also find AOL, MSN, CompuServ, and Earthlink links are all broken as well. Wow, this is fun!

Cindi hello, we are forming a global database for archival biographies. Wondering if you may have an interest to consult? Think, Wikipedia combines with Facebook and People magazine for the unfamous. It's about people, all people, and can include genealogical links.
Sincerely, John Gil

Shelly Takehara Cyndi, with the holiday season coming up, I do a lot of online shopping. Do you get credit for purchases made through your Amazon and other links (eBay, Barnes & Noble etc.) even though they are not genealogy related purchases? Let me know and I will shop through your links!

Cyndi's List
Hmmm....yesterday I said no links to MySpace and possibly other social networking pages. Today I get a new link to a FB page that changes my mind about Facebook pages. I think if you have a FB page devoted to a single topic (surname, locality, etc.) then it probably makes sense. What do you think? This is the new link ...- seems well done to me: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Johannes-S iegfried-of-Maxatawny-Pa-1690-1747/20065 6220983?ref=tsRead More

Cyndi's List I am continually surprised by the number of webmasters who do not send me updated addresses when they move their web sites.

Cyndi's List When I'm placing a link for prisoners or criminals I'm seriously tempted to put it under "Occupations." For example, just placed one on the Arkansas page. I've always put them under "People." Then I stop myself and realize my weird sense of humor might not fly in this situation.

Cyndi's List That's it. I've officially decided I will not link to any personal genealogy pages located on MySpace, and most likely not any other personal networking sites. They don't function well as publications.

Nancy I am an addicted GENEALOGIST! Thank you for the info you supply! God Bless!

Cyndi's List Heavily focused on software links today. They will be online late Monday night.

Cyndi's List Well, I'm finished with the submitted links from 2004. Only 59 more months to catch up on...

Cyndi's List It must be a full moon because I'm getting weird e-mails again. Two today asking me about technology issues totally unrelated to what I do. SQL date string conversion and a photolisting data feed. Guess what! I'm not in charge of everything on the Internet!!!
