Hi Susan, we love hearing that! What colors have you selected for your mixing palatte?

The Watercolor Color Map Mixing Set + Moonglow for shadows and a black that doesn't overpower. That's the Hansa Yellow Medium, Perinone Orange, Rhondnite Genuine, Imperial Purple, Ultramarine Blue, Maganese Blue Hue, Amazonite Genuine, Permanent Green Light, Quinacridone Gold, and Quincridone Burnt Orange. Great for florals or landscapes!

I was wondering since I haven't seen his name when you announce the demos. I did take his class last year at the KAC and had a great time. He'd always recommand us some new products he'd seen at the DS store. Unfortunately I moved to Maine and I'm a little bit too far now to take his class again!! I like it here but I miss my art store in Bellevue!!!! :o(

Wow, Maine that is a bit far to come by for a class! : ) I don't usually mention the workshops (they have fees) often with the Free demo blog posts. The 101 Workshops do have a tiny fee ($10) although since participants get a $10 coupon for purchasing supplies that day it really works out to $0. Hi Joanne, I have found out that the Liquitex Book (actually Product Information Guide) Colart (the sponser of the demo) sent us were printed in German! The guide in English is out of print, and that instructor Michele Theberge may not have fully understood that.
