There are more than a few people in Chicago that I know who would make for very interesting interviews but Peter Vogwill is at the top of the list -he comes from a wealthy family related to the Wrigley chewing gum fortune and his father was friends with the original Mr. McIntosh of the much desired audiophile Mcintosh ...audio mfg. co.
Pete does not communicate with his family and lives in a basement owned by a guy with a few properties and Pete does all the re-hab maintenance for various structures.
You name it and Pete can fix it -that is as simple as I can put it, I have known him since 1995 (I am a signpainter) and I've seen him repair EVERYTHING in houses from
ancient plumbing on up to exotic turntables, pre-amps and swedish automobiles.
