To celebrate our return, we are having staging a loving tribute to the greatest DJ of all time - Tiesto. We're going to be showing back to back video recordings of Tiesto playing live on a gigantic plasma screen television ...brought in just for the occasion. April fools! We are back, though, and helping us get back into the groove tonight is the won and ona-ly Wona. He and I will be manning the decks from 9:00 until 1:30 at the Former Seabright Bar and Lounge now renamed "The Madhouse." This is following a special Burner's Happy Hour from 6 until 9 featuring DJs Christophoro, Seek and Dfunkt. What more could you want? 21 and up - no cover. See you there!

I'll be playing tomorrow night (Thursday) at the Crepe Place as supporting act to Trip Delight, I've included a brief bio for those of you who are not yet familiar wih them, hope you can make it...it's gonna be a lot of fun!

...Trip Delight is a dance music collective featuring funky original electro beats, dance performance, live percussion, vocals, keyboards and bass. Soaring vocal melodies from the two female singers interlocking with funky percussion jams and dance performances, and lots of groove to get your freak on. All the members know how to rock a dance floor and have toured nationally, (members from Sambada, Naomi and the Curteous Rude Boys, Higher Movement, Goddess Funk, Hipnautica, Nocturnal Sunshine, Burn!). Santa Cruz has a new weekly! That's right. We're partying every Wednesday with resident DJs Cool Hand Luke and Sparkinzi at the Seabright Bar and Lounge. This place has seen some ups and downs over the past few years, but was bought by a new owner at the end of last year and he's dedicated to making the space friendly ...and inviting to all. We're bringing in some local favorites as well as notable names from the bay area and beyond.
Helping us kick off the first week is DJ Seek from Spaceship Gaia, Digg, and Sugar. The next week is Lil John on the 21st, then Chlorophil on the 28th, followed by the one and only Rick Preston on the 4th of February.
