DJ ILL-WILL

DJ ILL-WILL does it all from promotions, house parties, college parties, industry parties, concerts, and any event you need music for. ILL-WILL has a strong musical background, his father and uncle were DJ’s from Harlem back in the 70’s when the Sugar Hill Gang and Kurtis Blow were just stepping on the seen. DJ ILL-WILL grew up on the South Bronx, New York during the era of A Tribe Called Quest, EPMD, Leaders of the New School, Black Sheep, The Native Tongue Family and the beginning of the Bad Boy Empire. So you can say he has been around music his whole life, from the day he came home from the hospital straight to the Boogie Down Bronx. He never forgets where he is from no matter what state he is spinning in he still reps the Bronx to the fullest. You are sure to hear him rep the Bronx no matter where he goes. ILL-WILL has been rocking club parties before he was of age to attend. During his college years At Clark Atlanta University ILL-WILL came up during the Golden Age of the DJ with DJ's such as Don Cannon, DJ Drama, DJ Sense (who later came to known as The Aphilliates) and DJ Brannu (Break Records). In a competitive crop like that he only got better. He brought his style of New York mixing, live blending, and scratching at shows and worked hard to master his craft. He also knows how to control the crowd and has a niche to know what the ladies really want to hear giving him the nickname (The Ladies Choice). The way he serves the music up to a crowd is like no other. It's like a musical rollercoaster, the fun never stops! DJ ILL-WILL defiantly has his own style so be prepared for an experience. He might be one of the most unpredictable DJ’s I have seen in a long time. When DJ ILL-WILL is not rocking the club he is doing street promotions through his company The Untouchables (TU) which does promotions for Atlantic Records, B.E.T. and Sony BMG to name a few. With his brother DJ KNO-IT-ALL (Co-owner) and TEST DASH (Co-owner) they set on on a plan to take over the college scene and the streets. A lot of DJ’s say that they are in the streets but when ILL-WILL says it he really means it. He is one of the only DJ’s seen that can spin records and be up to grinding it out in the streets. So if you can’t find him behind the turntables at a club trust me he is not to far from the action. So I must say ILL-WILL is going to be around for a long time you might see him pop up it a state near you. (read less)
