Hi There!!! first of all id like to thank you for joining my page big respect to you for that!!! well here goes.....hi my names Michael aka monk-e i've been interested in the more underground dance scene for about 17 years now all started when I was 10 nicking my elder sisters techno/jungle/DnB tapes out here packs l...ol. Then started listening the more happy side in about 95-96 but quickly got bored of it due to the fact everyone started playing the same tunes all the time so I quickly moved on to mainstream trance. just before what I call the "recession period" happened in the hardcore scene. In 1999 I started saving for some decks 2000 I had my decks. started off playing hard house then hard trance and then hardstyle I just wasn't happy with what I was playing I kept searching for that harder darker sound but just could not find it. then just randomly in 2005 I heard Tommy knocker "twist" and bout died!!!thats what I wanted to play like!!!!!!!i found my sound that track converted me back to hardcore techno so I just kept searching everywhere on the net/records shops looking for tracks along this line you name it mp3/cds/vinyls if I liked it I brought it then around 2007 I started really concentrating on playing hardcore techno and drop my other styles after spending two years on learning techno i'm finally playing my 1st hardcore techno set hopefully with more to come!!.also after regular appearances on kraftyradio.com and diehard-club.com playing back to back with DJ Merlin - He has decided to take me on doing his shows with him and make it a more of a regular thing............so I now play UK hardcore but only back to back. thanks for reading hope i've note bored you too much thanks for the support and check the link box for free mixes STAY HARDER Read More
