I've done a few remixes in the past, some of them are posted on this page...but with all honesty, i think this is my best one to date!
I loved the original version produced by Darkchild, but always thought the group were extremely underrated. So in order to shed more light on them and this classic 90's club joint, i tho...ught i'd give it a new re-working by using the infamous "The Message" beat, which appeals to both younger and older generations, and will hopefully help II D EXTREME find their way back to DJ-sets worldwide...
AND GUESS WHAT...
The members of II D EXTREME love this version so much, that they want to use it for their live shows! :-) As Borat would say: "GREAT SUCCESS!!"
DJ SOULCHILD (Switzerlands Official R&B King) This is just a little something i messed around with about 5 years ago...i've always loved the original version from back in 1994, but thought i should add a more modern, club-friendlier spin to it so i could get away with playing it in front of younger audiences too, but without straying away from the original version..., which is too much of a classic to tamper with...and it works! ;-) Hope you like it...
DJ SOULCHILD (Switzerlands Official R&B King) This is actually the first remix i ever did back in 2004 with a shitty recording/editing program...lol...i even got a few copies pressed on white label vinyl, and sold them off to other local DJ's. This was ripped from the vinyl, so i apologize for the quality. The Fabolous rap part in the middle goes a little off-beat... towards the end....but i think it's a cool remix nonetheless. Always got good reactions in the clubs! Quite a few people even said they prefered this version over the original, so that's all good with me...lol...Enjoy!
