DailyWorth A top request made in the DailyWorth end-of-year-survey was to put the entire DailyWorth into 1 email, not to ask you to click for more. Word. So, my question is: should we shorten the info, or make DailyWorth longer?

Hmmmm. I'd keep reading but I'd also like to know I can "come back for more." (Maybe include links to get to background info, or what you just can't fit above the fold.) No matter the case, the daily dose of DW is always WORTH the read. :)

DailyWorth Check out this Grocery/Coupon strategy from DW reader Paula Wethington - http://www.blogsmonroe.com/budget/grocery-shopping-on-a-budget-tips-and-tricks/grocery-shopping-on-a-budget-the-8-week-plan/ -- Best tip: "Inventory food and create meal planning before shopping. This way you're filling gaps and not buying more than you need." Sold.

I'm probably being annoying but I thought of a couple more examples :-) I got four boxes of Morningstar Farms stuff (veggie burgers, etc.) for $0.99 each , a 5lb box clementines for $2.99, free Wholly Guacamole, and seven packages of Green Giant frozen vegetables for $0.40 each, all by combining sales with coupons (and these are just the most ... See Morerecent examples). You won't find packaged cookies or beef a roni (or whatever) in my house! Couponing is a big time commitment though, with researching the sales and finding matching coupons, but the savings has been worth the time spent for me, particularly as a SAHM.

Hi guys -- just for the record -- that post above starting "I've saved about $50 a week on this tip" has the DailyWorth icon next to it, but I didn't post it. Weird?! Must be some random Facebook bug. Anyways, totally valid comment, just wasn't posted by me.

DailyWorth I've decided to clip coupons this year. I've never clipped a coupon in my life. Where does one begin to find the best coupons?

You can visit your favorite brands' websites to find their coupons and get on their promo mailing lists. Especially helpful if your like to buy organic. Good luck!

I do another type of coupon clipping strategy. I use retailmenot.com when shopping online and the handy dandy grocery card for great deals. You can save up to 30% of your purchase if you plan it right!

The welfare application was on my kitchen table. It was filled out and signed, waiting for me to bring it to the people who would decide whether I’d be able to make rent next month or put food on the table.

DailyWorth Philly.com did a segment (video) on DailyWorth claiming I (Amanda) am perhaps the next Suze Orman? I say so. Here's how to watch it. Click here: http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment/celebrities/ and watch the "Oldies.com" segment -- DailyWorth is the second half. This is my first webivised feature, and wow have I... learned a lot: 1. I REALLY need a haircut. 2. I need to chill/smile more. I was a bit frazzled because my 3yo interrupted every take with a whine or yell. Regardless, was a great learning experience. Thanks to Marnie Hall--the producer--for making DailyWorth look so great.

One of my prospective bosses offered me $24,000. I countered with $27,000. He pulled out his calculator like a gun from a holster, punched in $3,000, divided it by 52, and in a clipped tone responded, "That's only $57 more a week, why do you care?"

It's a question a growing number of women will face. The number of women-owned businesses is growing at twice the rate of all businesses and entrepreneurs in general are better at blending work and family than corporate women.
