Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture At Old Red this Saturday: Author and photographer Barry Doyle will be on hand to sign copies of his new book, Dallas Iconography. And of course, Santa will be here from 12-3. Special Price - just $5 for everyone all day on 12/12. Members, of course, are always free. Come by and see us on Saturday!

JP Morgan Chase has launched an innovative new program allowing Facebook users to help decide how $5 million in charitable dollars will be distributed. It's easy to be a part of the process and vote for Old Red!
1. Just visit http://apps.facebook.com/chasecommunityg
2. Log in as a Facebook member and become a fan of Chase Community Giving 3. Register your vote for the Old Red Courthouse, Inc. (if you enter that, it will autofill below the entry line and you can select the museum)
One hundred finalists will be awarded $25,000 each. The top five runners-up will receive $100,000 each, and the charity receiving the most votes will be awarded $1 million. An Advisory Board will distribute an additional $1 million to the organizations of their choice from all that are nominated.
You can cast one vote for up to 20 charities (sadly, you can only vote once for Old Red). The voting process has already begun and will continue only through December 11. Please help us spread the word to all of your friends on Facebook and Twitter.

Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Culture Kick off the holiday season with a visit to Old Red this Saturday, November 14. We'll be opening our annual holiday exhibit, "Deck the Halls," complete with a performance by the Heritage Brass Band, and a certain jolly man in red will be available for photos from 12 - 3! Vote for your favorite tree, make ornaments for ...your own, and more! Free for members, and just $5 for non-members all day on Saturday.
