TOGA is so very ON! The City's Office of Special events issued TOGA's event permit on Wednesday.
They also said "<b>[TOGA has] met, and in some areas exceeded, the expectations of the city’s Special Event ordinance to ensure a safe and secure event. </b>

There's a science to assigning our 30+ restaurants, 20+ businesses, 10+ public service teams, an arts & crafts area, 10 display cars, a recycling center, the Budweiser stage and two beverage centers their places at TOGA 2010.
However, it's more fun to throw darts at the site maps in this photo...

TOGA welcomes Amity Thomas as TOGA's public relations coordinator. She's smart, she knows the restaurant/hospitality business inside and out, and she has a great client list.
Of course she does - TOGA's on it! She'll be adding comments and information here starting next week.

Lower Greenville  Taste of Greenville Avenue 2010 is happening October 23... this is your first (of many) warning... Please make plans to attend!

If you are a TABC-certified bartender, TOGA needs you! We need at least 30 servers inside our two fully-stocked beverage centers - beer, water, wine, juice, Red Bull, etc. Last year's servers did really well in a much smaller setting. Half-shifts (4 hours) are okay too.
Send an email to toga@tasteofgreenvilleavenue.com ...to get on our list!
