The Chief Vann House historic site will honor one the first Christmas celebrations in the Cherokee Nation with "Cherokee Christmas by Candlelight," the re-creation of a 19th century Christmas from 5 to 9 pm December 11 and 12. Moravian missionaries celebrated the holiday at Chief Vann's mansion in 1805. Admission is $3....50 for children, $4.50 for seniors and $5 for adults.
