Whitfield-Murray Historical Society It isn't raining rain to me, It's raining daffodils; In every dimpled drop I see Wild flowers on the hills. The clouds of gray engulf the day, And overwhelm the town; It isn't raining rain to me, It's raining roses down. . . .

. . . It isn't raining rain to me, But fields of clover bloom, Where every buccaneering bee May find a bed and room. A health unto the happy! A fig for him who frets! --It isn't raining rain to me, It's raining violets. -Robert Loveman, Dalton poet.

is full of surprises! We moved the two pianos from the Hamilton House yesterday in preparation for work that is about to begin on the building. When we got one of the pianos outside we decided to open it and see what it looked like inside. Instead of hammers and strings what did we find? . . . . three pots of artifi...cial flowers, a trophy, a nativity scene, a sword, and two plastic mailboxes. What else can be said?Read More
