Joshua Hey Dav! I noticed that all your albums except Hyperdramatic are available on iTunes. Any chance that it will be available in the future? By the way, love your first album! So raw and original!

Anybody who knows me in the slightest shouldn't be surprised that the thing that affected me the most about Rwanda (besides of course for the traveler's sickness which lasted twelve days and borrowed five pounds) was the children...

I have an idea. Let's round up those little children and get them to work for us. They'll have a purpose in life and stop begging and pestering people, and we'll have cheap labour. Wow!! Why hasn't anyone thought of this excellent solution.

This is about my fifth attempt to finish this column, there are so many things I want to write about Rwanda that I've been somewhat paralyzed. There are amazing things that jump out like their no plastic bags policy and when I say no, I don't mean you are forced ...

There aren't any words to describe the beauty of Rwanda, pictures don't begin to do it justice and songs and stories are a pale version of the truth. I am sitting in a rented house in Kigali looking out over rolling hills of such a deep intense green that St ...

A powerful story....well written. I have only seen it through Toms eyes and it really puts things, once again, into perspective! Tis the season to remember.

OK...I just figured out the "view original post" button. Why, on all these blog posts, was she ending with ... halfway through a sentence???!!! Got it now!

This is a fascinating, deeply moving story. I particularly like your use of the word justice. When reading a story about Rwanda...and you see that word..you most often associate it with retribution or punishment. "Justice" is a concept we use a lot when we talk about horrific episodes such as the Rwandan genocide. We normally demand it, as a society, but is it worth it? In the case of Rwanda....where would it ever end? How could justice heal this nation? In this story...you used the word to help describe something beautiful instead.

Beautiful, inspiring writing, Damhnait. I look forward to reading more of your amazing experiences.... See More

I am sitting on the plane heading to Rwanda and I can't tell you how oddly relaxed I feel. Usually I am beyond apprehensive as I set out for somewhere new, especially when it means I have to be on a plane, clutching the armrests for twenty four hours, but ...

Stephanie Hurley Hey! I am a big fan of yours. I was wondering if you've ever recorded
Salt Water Joys. It's my favourite Newfoundland song and I would love to hear a version by you. Thanks.

In the same way that I promised myself to never again write about my cat ( omitting her at this moment is not difficult since she just made mincemeat out of my arm with her teeth and claws), I swore that when I hit send on my column last week ...

I am not sure what to say, think or do, this H1N1 flu has got everyone in a tizzy. With pamphlets delivered to our front doors it seems daily, instructing us to sneeze into our sleeves, wash our hands and pretty much not to touch, look at or think about ...

I know it seems like a lot of hysteria. At my work I have not stopped touching the hands of healthy, beautiful 20 and 30 year olds this past week who were telling me how frightened they were, only to return to my next shift, to find them on full life support. It is frightening because it is so random and can be so devastating.

Ok, i am pretty sure this all has to stop now, this whole world of fame chasing and moral debasing. It's like approaching Niagara Falls in a barrel and grabbing anyone within arms reach and pulling them right over the edge with you...

Bang on Dav.
The world is really starting to spin out of control. Way too many stupid, obsessed people out there.

Glad you are with us on this hellish ride. Your with, charm and common sense are very soothing.

On a completely random note. I miss when labels used to have their artists do junkets. You stopped in my office in Barrie nine years or so ago (of course you remember every detail). I just thought it was so cool.

Oh well.
