Dan Kinsley

Dan Kinsley, multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, was born in the South and now currently resides in the North. His songs pay homage to the bards of the "old weird america," a term coined by Greil Marcus and used to describe the eerie country, blues and folk music on Harry Smith's Anthology of American Folk Music. He's also been known to blend Country songwriting with Trip Hop production, blending heavily effected guitar and drum tracks with deep keyboard textures and reverb-laden vocals. (read less)
