Distinct and particular, Ivy Baldwin’s work uses both movement and theatrical abstraction to create nostalgic worlds inhabited by alluring characters. Her new piece - Bear Crown - investigates the cause and effect of great transformation – personal, cultural, emotional – and the inevitable deterioration of all things powerful, beautiful, and grand.
