Dance4 have been working in collaboration with the Nottinghamshire Arts Support Service co-ordinating the national Aim Higher initiative, aimed at gifted and talented young people from 14- 19 years. The project offers young people the opportunity to gain an insight into the dance profession from practical technique ses...sions, to careers pathways, to teaching skills and co-ordinating projects in various community settings over a 6 day programme.
This year participants experienced the delights of our nottdance09 double bill performance with Robert Hylton and Rachel Krische, followed by contemporary practise and performance with Caroline Muller and Robert Hylton. They also learned about dance in a learning context with children by local artists and visited Northern School of Contemporary Dance for a day.
