Daniel was such an amazing kid! To me he was a kid...buy he was more of a man than I was at the age I knew him. He was just starting high school when I met him...we went to the same jr high even though I am a few years older. He was a very helpful man who wanted nothing more than to be there for everyone!!! Never wante...d credit for anything he did! Whether it was helping someone out or winning a football team. He was absolutely amazing!!!!
I'm sorry we all have to go through this, but he was an extremely wonderful person. And as someone said before...it keeps happening to the best....I will never forget Daniel. He was a true hero and was an idol for many, even since his Downey days!!!!

It was so sad when my dad called me with the news. Me and Daniel were in Tae Kwon Do together as kids, and I can remember going to the tournaments with him and his mom, and the rest of the Modesto Ernie Reyes Camp like it was yesterday.
Even back then, he was a great kid and one of the few i've known with that level of ...character. Damn is all I can say, it's such a tragedy that we lost yet another great person to problems in the middle east. It sucks even more because this time it hit home. When will it stop?
My love and support go out to Daniel and his family, and all of you will stay in my prayers. Glenda, I could never imagine what it must be like to go through something like this, your son was a great Man, he will not be forgotten..
