Hi Dan,
You probably wont remember me but we went to Stamford School together, be it you were 9 years older than me! Just wanted to say that what you doing/about to do is truly incredible! I tell my mates that a guy from my old school is going to swim the Atlantic at which point most of them stop listening as they don'...t believe me! Its not until I send them a link to your website that they come to terms with the enormity of what you are doing! I am, training for the GB rowing team and think that is tough enough, what you are doing is mind completely boggling!

Daniel Martin 5months until D-Day! Panic?
Carlton Hopper Hey...just having a beer with my 72 old father in law. Telling me of his recent holiday and his best day when he attempted to swim across the bay for the first time. Some young nutter managed to swim the same bay 4 times in the time he did it once....told me he said that he was planning to swim across the Atlantic. ...I said bollocks...so we checked on internet and I stand corrected. Awesome plan. When you do it a) you can come and do a personal celebrity appearance for me (I am a Senior Exec in a global corp) and b) you can meet Austin my father in law and discuss how you trained together in Tenerife! Good luck Carlton.....and Austin (72 yrs). ps currently persuading Father in Law to get his running shoes and bike out...maybe he can set record too...albeit 4 times longer than you!
