Dank is John Siepierski, Brian Thompson, Jason Wood, and Vanere Maynard. The creative forces and the influences behind these four talented musicians from Bradford, Pennsylvania has brought about the most energetic, untamed folk music since the genre itself was considered renegade. From their humble beginnings in the summer of 2007, Dank has adapted and evolved from playing simple contra-dances and squared-off song structures to playing venues throughout the surrounding region and blowing the doors off what folk is thought to be.
