My Mom had a knee replacement on Nov 9th and I've been bringing one of my therapy dogs or her own dog in every day! She's doing great now although she did have a slow start.

I more than understand. I'm sure everyone here understands. I don't know which is more difficult: the sudden death or having to hold you beloved companion while the veterinarian administers the sedative and then the final injection... <sighhhhhh>

Thank you for your kind words.
Mira died at home. We are pretty sure she was poisoned. She was fine one day and the next she was vomiting and had diarrhea. The doctor who treated her was more concerned with ultra sound and exploratory surgery than a simple blood test. Mira was way too weak for surgery. She was sick for only a few short days. It is so hard for me to write about her.
I feel for all of you who lost your beloved pet. It hurts so bad.....
