Darrell Awards We are still accepting nominations for the 2010 Darrell Awards. Deadline is January 1, 2010. The next Darrell Awards Jury meeting will be Sunday December 6, 2009.

Darrell Awards The Darrell Awards are given annually for work published between November 1 and October 31 of the preceeding year. So, for the 2010 Darrell Awards, we are looking at work that was published between November 1, 2008, and October 31, 2009. This means, if it was not published by yesterday (Halloween), it is too late for the 2010 Darrells.

Darrell Awards Darrell Awards Jury meeting is in 10 minutes (5:30pm) at Dixie Cafe on Poplar Ave.
Darrell Awards The next meeting of the Darrell Awards Jury is this month - Sunday September 20 at Dixie Cafe on Poplar Avenue near Perkins. Starts at 5:30pm. If you would like to be on the Jury, please feel free to attend. If you would like to help us out by being one of Readers (no need to attend - just read and critique on the form... we will provide), please lookup Barbara Gatewood here on facebook and let her know.

Sherrilyn Kenyon, who will be a Special Guest at MidSouthCon 28 in 2010, was recognized with a Darrell Award in 2006. She is here on Facebook (both personally and with a fan page) and on MySpace (ditto - both ways). She is a very prolific and very popular author -- check out her work.
