Houmas House Plantation and Gardens It hasn't rained in nine weeks, but the Gardens are absolutely beautiful. The Gardens are in full color, and the water lilies have never been more brilliant and colorful. The bromeliads are in full bloom with both the shade and sun varieties in full display. Black Eye Susans mark the entryway to the Turtle Bar. The Crepe Myrtles in the Hampton Court are bright pink and fully blooming.
