LOL,Ani. Serious advice. Never send anything to the slush pile that isn't precisely what that particular publisher asks for - usually white A4 with double spaces 12 point black TNR font, prose carefully checked for grammos and types as well as a joy to read. Pink paper or small juju heads or expensive chocolate or powdered tetradontotoxin are out. While the latter might be tempting that would be the one they were going to accept ;-)

Chris, I've TRIED to get that out of my system (the physical battler part). All that it has done is moved me on bigger targets ;-). Seriously I was the kid that couldn't stay out of fights at school (I was 5'6'' and had more attitude than a tyranosaurus.) but that evolved to point where you really have to try damned hard to get into a fight with ... See Moreme (but I won't just agree with you to avoid it.). Even the altercation with Eric remained outside the realms of adhominem attacks and was in fact very funny. For years the monkey-bear wars appeared to be going on. They were a fraud for the entertainment of the crowd.
