We live in challenging times that offer exciting opportunities. The world has changed, America has changed, and change will only continue. Our responsibility is to manage that change, always putting the American people first – not political parties.

Elections are about choices, and there is a clear choice in the 8th district of Washington. I bring unique experience, background, leadership, and judgment to the U.S. House of Representatives.

I was not elected to conduct business as usual, but to bring a new perspective to leadership. That’s what I did as Sheriff, and what I work to do now, every day. But I can’t do it without your help. As your Congressman, I will continue to advocate for the people of the 8th district by ensuring that America remains strong and free; our troops have everything they need in battle and when they return home; our neighborhoods and families are safe; the economy improves by keeping taxes low and allowing you to spend more of your own money; increasing jobs by working on trade; lowering the cost of health care and making it available to everyone; providing and improving education for everyone; and protecting our environment.
