YOGA ROCKS MOUNTAIN FEST kicks off its Second Annual, weekend-long live music and yoga celebration, Aug. 21 – 23, 2009, on the pristine, 17-acre festival grounds of Planet Bluegrass, Lyons, Co. With riverside camping under the stars, 15 live musical acts including Dave Stringer, Donna De Lory, Wade Morissette, Girish a...nd Ariana Saraha and 20 inspiring yoga and wellness instructors, 2009 promises to attract upwards of 500 yoga lovers to its sunny festival grounds. Yoga Rocks is a benefit festival for Colorado non-profit Yoga World Reach, which creates Yoga and empowerment programs for people in need.

The second-annual celebration will include live music from the yoga community’s top musical acts, more than a dozen sustainable lifestyle vendors and artists, a drum circle, meditation, chanting, tasty vegetarian food and of course, plenty of heart shifting yoga. Festival goers will see some added-features for 2009 including much larger yoga tents along the St. Vrain River, a wider diversity of vegetarian food, more yogic music and additional workshops that bring together musicians with live meditation and yoga teachings.
