dear dr. dave. hope you remember me. it's been a while. i used to work as the director of the women's clinic, then went on to medical school at ucsf and worked in new york for many years. then i had my struggles, which you might recall, and we met again when i was getting help at betty ford. i've struggled since, and i...t's been rather grim. but i am now at a place of trying to reinvent myself and figure out what i can do as a doctor without a license. i would love to see you and millicent for coffee sometime. perhaps you have some ideas about how i can use my training and my years in the trenches to be of service and to help support myself. i am willing to do anything right now, as times are hard. i can't think of anyone better who might know people that i could connect with, for support, some much needed laughter and perhaps a job.
i recently met a friend of yours, leo woodyard, an excellent guy, who made me promise to contact you and millicent. so if you have a moment, i'm here.Read More
