Mark Harris Incidently, I wonder what you and Jon would have come up with as an AVATAR soundtrack?

Mark Harris Avatar is something of a quantum leap. And yes, David, things are not the same after a viewing. Like Bladerunner in 1982, you just know something in it is somehow not far away - exciting and scary at the same time. As we flip open our cell phones to see if our sushi is ready for pickup, those campy images of 'commu...nicators' on Star Trek are not so campy sometimes.

David Helpling ok, I'm done with 2009. Time to make this album happen with Jon Jenkins! So inspired...let's rock.

David Helpling My friend Mathew Dixon just released this awesome Flamenco Christmas CD...he is so good - Love it!

David Helpling Winter Solstice takes place today. The astronomical event takes place when the Earth tilts farthest from the sun and occurs at precisely 12:47 p.m. EST - the shortest day of the year and the official start of winter. The word "solstice" is derived from the Latin phrase the "sun stands still" - from Steven Schreier

David Helpling Just got back from seeing AVATAR in IMAX with Jon Jenkins...the real word seems different now - the film is truly enthralling.

Eric Schlesinger
You and that Jenkins feller sure create some really nice moods.
Maybe if more people could move past being beaten over the head
with that "Old Time Rock & Roll" for the 647th time,
they might discover it. Really impressed with this "Treasure"
and "...Edge of the World" business that I recently added to the stacks.
The nume...rous CDs of O'Hearn, VanG, Farish and company might have to
start sharing more stacks space!
(Seems like forever ago when I first heard Stormchaser, yet STILL excellent works
are spilling out of that Helping brain pan.)
