This is the Detroit area premiere, the homecoming show for
native son, David Tobocman, purveyor of entertaining, snappy, catchy “Very Helpful Songs” for kids.
Since leaving town in 1985, David has gone on to forge a 20+ year career in the Los Angeles music industry, producing records, scoring films and TV shows, writing... songs, and playing all styles of music. With becoming a parent, David has now turned his focus to writing message-driven, smart, funny songs for the small set.
Please welcome him home and come on out. Bring some friends! Be ready to sing along and have fun. Parents and kids up to age 8 will enjoy a musical, lyrical romp through all styles of music.

Shops are open until 10pm, happy hour is extended in bars and restaurants, and music pours out everywhere. David Tobocman appears at the kids' specialty shop Toys and Tales in the late afternoon.
