Childhood friends, Andy David and Jason Friesen began playing music together when Andy’s dad bought him an electric guitar. Soon afterwards, Jason’s dad picked up a manky old semi-acoustic bass and amp for him. The two wrote dozens of songs and played them wherever they could, to universally favourable audiences.
After high school, they went their separate ways, but kept coming together occasionally to write and perform a new song.
In 1999 they teamed up again to produce soul kin, a four-song cd classic, produced at Pigeon Moods Studios in Nelson, BC.
In 2008 they reunited to play a benefit concert for Thálion Friesen, Jason’s eldest son. Thálion was on his way to Greece to serve with Teen Missions International.
Andy David handles guitars, background vocals, and lead vocals. Jason Friesen plays bass, guitar, background vocals, and lead vocals. They have played together since 1989.
