Yes Colleen! Tim played for Davison, graduated from Davison, and if memory serves me correctly, he lived in a house right behind the old 7-11 on M-15, right in The City of Davison! However, and I know I'm splitting hairs here, but after the Winter Classic yesterday when they announced Tim Thomas as goalie, I waited anxiously with pride for the words "...from Davison, MI", but Tim Thomas is from Flint, MI apparently. I was bummed. Congrats to Tim!

That's like Michael Moore. They always say he's from Flint too when he grew up right across from the fire hall. Not sure if that's their fault or the media's, but I agree Brian. Waiting to hear "from Davison, MI"! Maybe they pick it up from their birth certificate since they were probably born in one of the Flint hospitals?

The City Council will hold a special workshop to review the proposed water and sewer rate increases on Monday, January 4, 2010. The public is welcome (and encouraged) to attend this meeting at 6:00 p.m. at City Hall. The next regularly ...scheduled City Council meeting will be on Monday, January 11, 2010, at 7:30 at City Hall.

Years ago the Hilgendorf family did own another restaurant in Flushing," Bonnie Kettle & Keg", if I remember correctly.
Didn't have it to long, Ed Hilgendorf told me people kept saying the salad bar & food wasn't the same as Davison's Whitey's.

It is so nice to see the Larson's Ace Hardware sign in Davison when I get to town. I worked there for almost 8 years in my High Shool and College Years. Loved that job.

I worked the same times as the first 3. Can even remember when Wilbur Bond first moved to this area and worked as the Desk Sgt. at MSP. in Lapeer. A man with much knowledge of the Law back in the days.

I remember watching Frank hide (on foot) behind a pole and flag down speeders on Flint St.at the intersection of Lapeer St. Myself, Steve Alger, Bob, and Ron Robinette would stand watching in awe as the drivers would actuall stop and receive the ticket or verbal warning! Funny thing is we boys also got verbal warnings for snowballs at that same ... See Moreintersection. The officers were using the rubber strips laid out like the traffic counters of today. Can you imigane someone stoping for a Cop like that today?
