Death Defying Life formed in York, UK back in 2003 and have been playing, writing and performing ever since. They play an intense but melodic flat-out style of punk rock, pushing it to new levels. They incorporate a fusion of technical music, thoughtful lyrics and soaring vocal harmonies.
Theres no big image or ego, just faith, belief, passion and flair for musical creativity; a want to see many things, meet new people and explore different places. Most importantly all 5 members of Death Defying Life love music, pure and simple.

In 2004 DDL did a DIY tour of the U.S. West Coast from Seattle to San Francisco, including dates with Fat Wreck Chords' Western Addiction.

In March 2006 they spent 5 days in Amsterdam recording their 5 track debut EP now known as "These Clenched Fists".

April 2007 saw them supporting the pop-punk legends MXPX and Zebrahead around Europe.

DDL are currently working on getting a full length 10+ track cd out with all of their new material. (read less)
