Deb Thuman's Art Page Once or twice a year, we get snow. Last night, it snowed. The snow was gone by 10 AM, and these photos were taken before breakfast this morning.

Deb Thuman's Art Page I don't like snow. Got my fill of it, and then some, when I lived in Buffalo, NY for most of my life There's snow on the ground this morning and it will be gone by 10:00 am. Yes, we took photos. I threw out extra bird seed for the birds and two small birds are feeding as I type.

Deb Thuman's Art Page AAAUUUUUGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm in the middle of making a pair of slacks out of a linnen/rayon blend fabric that we bought in Montevideo when all of a sudden, my dying iron bit the dust and will heat no more.
Deb Thuman's Art Page I had all sorts of art things I wanted to do today. I wanted to dye fabric, but it's pouring out. No, inside dyeing isn't an answer - tile floors with grout.
Deb Thuman's Art Page It's pouring now and supposed to rain tomorrow, so don't expect great photos any time soon. But.... I finished the major part of a beaded cuff. I need to figure out what I'm going to use as a clasp. I had made some small buttons specially for cuff closures. Or.. I might use a shell.

Deb Thuman's Art Page We're in Albuquerque because Buttercup needed service. So.. we stopped at NM Clay and I got some clay specially formulated for tile. Jim got some clay with extra iron and a ^6 porcelain for throwing. We're going to have fun next semester.
Deb Thuman's Art Page I saw some sycamore today and decided I want at least some of my tiles to look like the bark. Next, I spent time thinking about how I could accomplish that - three colors of underglaze and use two sets of stamps for painting the tile?????
