Debbie Caffrey As I work on the nine new mystery patterns that I have designed in the last two days, a question occurred. Many of you became acquainted with my books and patterns through mysteries, others through my books, especially Open a Can of Worms. How did you learn of my quilting designs?

Debbie Caffrey I'm on a roll! I designed and drafted six new patterns today. More are spinning around in my brain. Once I get the others drafted I will start assigning who gets which mystery. Will you be catching one of my mystery classes in 2010 as I travel around the country? How about participating in a shop hop that distributes one of my patterns?

Debbie Caffrey Who needs shape sorter toys for a one year old when you have a ruler rack with eight slots and lots of small rotary cutting rulers? And pretty spools of thread and a small galvanized metal watering can? Claire and I had fun in my studio today!
Debbie Caffrey I will have a helper today, Tuesday, and Wednesday. My thirteen month old granddaughter Claire's daycare is closed this week. She will be here in ten minutes. We are going to have fun!
Debbie Caffrey Computer guy finished and my keyboard crashed as he was driving away! Not to worry, I pulled out a non-wireless one, plugged it in, restarted the computer, and all is wonderful. I like this keyboard, and the cord is a non-issue. It just goes down the grommet with the printer, two monitors, stapler, calculator, credit c...ard machine, and telephone cords. What's one more cord?
Debbie Caffrey Computer guy coming in little more than an hour to fine tune things from the October hard drive crash. I'll have to be away from my desk. I guess that means filing those stacks of things that accumulated while I didn't have a filing cabinet during last summer's move. BLEH........

Debbie Caffrey The studio looks so nice today. I finally put away everything from the crazy November travel and vacuumed the floor. With all the quilts on the walls and a top that is waiting for a pieced border laying on my pressing table, it really looks like a quilting studio now. Well, it looks like one that never gets used, but I... hope to change that. One more day and the garage will be empty enough to get my car in!
